I had my my first pet when I was eight and he was a mongrel named Tutti. I never imagined venturing into exotics soon after. The hobby grew and lie-lowed. At one point, my mom thought that I had a menagerie already, and that some babies had to be given new homes already.
And so now I'm left with a bossy dog, a snobbish cat, an observant ball python who loves to push her head on my hand, and a pair of nimble hammies.
